Mr. Jeff T. Wang assumed duties as the director of the State of Indiana Taiwan Office in April of 2006.
Mr. Wang was born and raised in Taiwan but the majority of his work experience took place in Indiana. While working at the Indianapolis International Airport, he was tasked with attracting new airlines, both cargo and passenger, to the Indiana region. Mr. Wang's goals were three-fold: to create new jobs for Indiana residents, to make Indiana the “crossroads of America” in the new century, and to further Indiana's global exposure.
Offering a rare blend of experience, it seems only natural that Mr. Wang would return to Taiwan to promote the interests of the State of Indiana in his homeland. As the Director of the State of Indiana Taiwan Office, Mr. Wang is responsible for attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) to the Indiana region, Assisting Indiana business people with their ventures in Taiwan, and increasing the international competitiveness of Indiana. |
