If some cold winter morning, you have a hankering for sun and sand, take a trip to Kenting. The journey is either a five hour drive from Taipei, or can be made by plane, bus, or the newly-opened high speed railway. Kenting, at the southernmost tip of Taiwan, boasts an internationally managed resort, an underwater park, hiking trails, and beaches.
